Turning Mining Data Into Decisions

Why we built HRE

Since working in mining, We’ve seen a consistent gap: application studies — like how equipment and haul roads are used — were rarely done in detail. When they were, they only gave a limited snapshot to base decisions on.

Despite the amount of data modern mines now have, most tools were clunky, slow, and hard to use. Reports weren’t intuitive, and valuable insights were often missed.

As mines face growing pressure to optimise for cost, emissions, safety, and production, we knew there had to be a better way.

What HRE is changing

That’s why we built HRE — to automate and simplify these studies so sites can focus on decisions and action, not data prep. And crucially, so they can do it themselves, long after we’ve left site.

  • Cut decision-making time from days to minutes

  • Make application studies a daily habit, not a yearly event

  • Empower more team members to take data-driven action

What’s Next for HRE

Leverage tools such as AI to help automate processes further and guide people to root & recommended actions – i.e. less time, more operational impact.

Integration with further data sources to increase visibility – Open up new opportunities not previously visible/obvious & enhance the quality of decisions made. This helps sites extract more value from their existing investments.

Expansion to other departments e.g. Mine Planning – help feedback information, operating parameters and what-if scenarios for technical services to improve how they plan & monitor execution.
